Clever bit of stop-motion claymation from South Korea, RT 4:35. For those who are interested in the Korean language and culture for reasons of business, international exchange or friendship.
The Arari Show is a series of short humorous animations for teaching elementary Korean expressions to viewers from other countries interested in Korean language and culture.
The show is hosted by Mr Arari, a dynamic showman, who with a live studio audience introduces several points unique to Korea such as 'ondol', underfloor heating, 'supul calbi', charcoal-grilled meat cooked at the dining table and the tense situation at the D.M.Z. (the demilitarized zone at the border between North and South Korea).
These and other scenes are depicted through meticulously hand made miniature sets and props giving an authentic feeling whilst keeping a light-hearted and humorous story line.
