Denver police surround protesters and bystanders alike for over two hours before kicking out the press, arresting over 100 people, and shooting pepper spray. Seems the protesters wouldn’t stay huddled back in their free speech ghetto and decided to exercise their Constitutional rights by strolling up to the convention center. But then they’d have been on the news and in the public eye… Per Denver police spokesman Lt. Ron Saunier, "officers decided to act against the protesters before they could break any laws."
